Perfect Getaway, Redang Island

DAY #1

Finally I had the chance to go Redang Island 

always see others go Redang and I didnt have the chance 

Ever since i first reunite with my dearie, he already asked me to join for Redang Trip

come to think again, time pass fast and we have been together for 3 months already

felt like its been more than that.

and so the bus took off at night

9pm

and arrive at 4.30am

where we have to pass Kuantan as well

we sat NICE

it was pretty comfy, just the leg part there abit squeezy when we lift the leg rest

probably because where we sat was the stairs part and the seat in front of us was lying backwards

cause minimizing of spaces between the seats.

once we got there, the nearest McD was non-24 hours (WHAT!?)

so we took taxi to the 2nd nearest McD, luckily IT EXIST!

and I love the breakfast set!

sausage mcmuffin and the pancake ^^

so we chilled while waiting for time pass

 

7.30am

an issue came

The cab driver is very much brainless

alsready know we have 10 person here and he only drove a MPV that fits 7 passengers

quite pissing some of them off

imagine 40minutes drive, and expecting us to squeeze like shit

so we gave him an option

either he gets us another cab or we grab our own cabs and go

and so he did arrange another cab for us.

LUCKILY we were able to catch the Ferry on time at Merang Jetty

and met up with the rest (Kean Boon, Nicole, Kean Yong, Jane, Ka Hong, Christine, Kim Sin)

A woobly way into the ferry? nah, it was pretty much stable ^^

sadly we were not allow to enjoy the ride at the ferry compound

But anyway, we still enjoy it from the inside

more like everyone napping there lol

Right after we check into our rooms respectively, 

we went for our first snorkeling on the first day!

The Open sea snorkeling was a little disappointing due to the corals werent as pretty as we thought and not much kinds of fishes there, but still overall was fun.

It was my first time every snorkeling, somemore in the open sea! was pretty scary for me at first though

stick to my BF very closely on that, afraid sth might happen ^^"> all of us was busying swimming hahah when

floating, swimming, wondering, slowly, we were like 200 meters away from the boat,

swim the hell out of us to reach the boat, thanks to the wave

it made us so tiring and struggling to reach the boat

as if we werent moving from the spot at all...

swim till my leg muscle and knee aching -.-

the time we reach back the boat, all of us were half dead

and I did learned one thing, tie your hair when going into sea water,

the water dehydrates the hair and you'll be very messy when you got out from the water while its trying to get dry before we could wash.

the dryness cause the mess, its really unruly @.@

it was a 30 minutes ride to go back from the sea to the shore

then we head down to the swimming pool to rinse up ourselves

 

by the way u can always rent a camera by the gear rent

after the fun by the pool, some of us (which includes me) head back to room to bath

and we others did not know where are the others went,

which is the beach and they had great fun there,

and I missed the fun! T.T

the wave was fun that time,

so they said.

I missed out the fun @.@

as due to the resort was facing the east side

the we couldnt had the great view of the sunset,

blocked by the trees

After our delicious and full dinner by the resort,

we headed down to Redang Reef Resort

(sorry, no pictures)

there's where you find the "Blue Tears"

Sparkling Blue Sand, it sparks under the moonlight,

it is a luminous life which we believe its a plankton, swept by the tide to the shores

it only appears during the night under the moonlight

A believe goes by that you may make a wish upon that in our hands

But I didnt made it with him : (

Then during the night, as usual for them,

drinking by the beach and found out the happening beachside party club there

while the guys drinks, the girls dance

But unfortunately sth happened awhile back then,

but it was settled in awhile ^^

Then grab a quick supper at " Summer Point" cafe at Redang Resort right beside our resort (Laguna Redang Resort)

Their food was not bad and it was very nice to sit there and gazing the stars

with nice sentimental or instrumental music (by my phone)

The most matchable song I played that night was

1. 另一个天堂 - Wang Lee Hom &???

It was one of the song how I felt that night

its one of the lovely song

2. My Heart Will Go On - Kenny G

This song meant alot to me, and I'll never feel bored towards this song

This 2 song had finally turn into a song of memories

Day #2

early morning at 9.30am is the first snorkeling but this time at "Marine Park"

a protected shore by the government for the beauty of the corals and the life of the various fishes

This time we dont jump into the water straight from the boat,

but walk down to the sea

Gear up people!

it was not as tiring as yday's by the open sea

BUT still tiring

 and back to the fun by the pool!

then a good relaxing rest by the beach

wasnt feeling that hot though,

the breeze was pretty relaxing

and made some of them fell asleep

while some others went for beach volleyball and the 3rd Snorkeling!

after the dinner in the resort
at night there was this competition who can finish the beer as quick

it was just a small little game

no meaning though -.-"

and i was so tired that night

and fell asleep earlier, thought i cud wake after a short nap, 

but no, and my deary was certainly didn't wanna wake me up so badly

*but i need to be shake hard to wake* lols

but heard was nothing much, they only went to the karaoke room (which is pretty rundown)

and decided to leave and had supper at "Summer Point" again

but this night, their cooking was not as good, so i heard

maybe because the chef was different on shift tonight?




Day #3
woke up early,
dear didnt tell me tht he wanna bring me around to take photo
but he left his promise on my phone while i was asleep
so, u CANT ESCAPE if you are tired even hahaha

and so he kept his promise

It was pretty rush this morning, as everyone couldnt wake earlier before the check out

leave to the Kuala Terengganu

even missed our free breakfast

so we had a really quick lunch

except for me as I eat very slow, took a hot tea

unfortunately I had "my aunt visit"

but luckily that was when there's no more water sports! ^^v phew~

and this is when I found that the tea (English Breakfast) is really nice

and decided to drink again even back in KL

so i decided to take away

and by the time we reached the Jetty, we are the only last group they are waiting for

felt bad

but all of them were so friendly as well

Everyone slept in the Jetty, can see how exhausted lol

but no doubts in the fun!

Once we reach the land,

the group left to KL first

which are Jane, Christine, Kean Boon, Nicole, Kean Yong, Ka Hong, and Kim Sin

and the rest, me, deary, Jonathan, Wen Sze, Tracy, Stephanie, Ming Chien, Ling San, Ping and Pee.

do not know where to go

and tried to find the nearest shopping mall

but ended up the taxi driver drove us to a grocery supermarket -.-"

was so worried what to do while waiting for time pass till 9.30pm

departing from here back to KL

and my mood and body was abit against the hot weather

I thought, "shit, am I gonna have a bad hot day?",

I dun mind the weather actually, but just that "IT" came at the wrong time @.@

Fortunately, there was a passer-by told us that we can leave our baggage at the travel agency nearby

and so we went to check it out

and we eneded up taking a day trip package and travel whats around Terrengganu

Museum

The Biggest Museum in Malaysia

Then the Crystal Mosque

as due to its strict rules

we are not allow to enter unless......

this!

were wondering if this was alright o.O

and even ask how is the posture suppose to be

and so everyone did,

and Pee pandai pandai do his style lol

This is all our first time entering a mosque hahaha

and all of a sudden, from Islamic, hop into

Martial Arts!?

HAHAHAHAH laugh the hell out of us

imitating Ip Man 

the winner a beauty of Muslim lady

went to get the famous Keropok Lekor too

then to a market  that sell most Durian

Pasar Payang, I called it Pasar Durian

then to the beach

Pantai Batu

the Beach can definitely not be comparable with Redang's because its SO DIRTY and ROUGH!

Finally we get to eat seafood there, even brought by the Travel Agency people

it was nice and afforadable for the crabs! What Ming Chien and Dear were craving for! 

then its time to head back to KL

it was my first time ever in a Double decker Bus

and the collest thing is, im sitting at the front

but please do note that, sitting infront is not always the best thing

went comes to accident... @.@ shall shut that part * touch wood* and another thing is.... really bouncy

this is a Transnasional Bus

The buses we took back and flow were some serious driver

they can really speed the journey,

Comments about the whole trip, ambience and quality:

- Fun Fun Fun n Fun!

- well organised

- great weather (though I had some major sun burn among us all)

- relaxing

- great view

- GREAT ROOM!

- Nice cookings (resort foods)

I somehow thinks that Laguna Resort is some how better than Redang Resort, because i checked the rooms ambience and design and the overall look, Laguna somehow is much organized and clean, as well as convenient but Redang Resort is more for the young ones like us, Laguna more to family type resort.

This was one of the fun and money-stress free (what i mean is money can be spend wisely without worries of lack of cash to have fun)

but I felt bad that I was not exactly my spendings but his....

Thank you so much dear... I believe its pretty hard for you to earn this much, and you did be the first one who spend so much for me.... appreciated alot!!!!

That night, you told me you were so worried that things could happened, 

that's why u were a little unhappy

and u had the "drops"

on my arms

hugged me tight and tell me

"Sorry, and I love you"

It touch deep down inside my heart

have you know, 

that you were the most caring, and loving ones

one that always want me to be the happiest ever

and stress-free ever

and the most importantly

a man of his words

Promises

they are important and are not meant to made if cant commit

and you kept to your promises

and thats what I am really glad

even sometimes if I was unhappy, 

sad, angry or anything, 

but 

remember....

I wouldnt want to leave your side

I wouldn't want to walk close to the edge of the cliff and jump off
